The Plenary on Tuesday began with a closedoor executive meeting where crucial matters of legislative importance were discussed. Thereafter the plenary resumed.
The controversial TETFUND undergoes investigation by the Adhoc Committee set up to look into issues of leakages, gaps and financial budgetary accountability regarding the N2.3 trillion education tax from TETFUND. Chaired by Hon. Wale Oke, and in attendance with other key Committee members is Hon. Ukodhiko Ajirioghene Jonathan representing Isoko Federal Constituency.
The main goal of a parliament, following the inauguaration of a new assembly, is to design and execute a set of proposed legislations that drive and support policies and programmes of the government for the good of the citizens and the public in general. To set the tone on what to expect for the 10th Assembly, the adhoc committee, with Hon. Ukodhiko A. Jonathan (Isoko Federal Constituency, Delta State), along with other members of the adhoc committee on Legislative Agenda, delibrated on key action points for onward execution.

Hon. Jonathan A. Ukodhiko, the member representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency, was on Tuesday during the plenary session appointed into the House of Representatives investigative ad-hoc committee to investigate the alleged abuse of N2.3 trillion in tertiary education tax by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund TETFUND, following a motion that was co-sponsored by Olusola Fatoba, David Fouh, and Zakari Nyanpa and was adopted by the house after putting it through a voice vote by the Speaker, Rt. Hon Tajudeen Abbas.
